I was as hot today as I've ever been in my life. No exaggeration. It was completely oppressive.


Hundreds of people required medical attention today. The concourses looked like a MASH unit.



You weren't at the game.

I do not blame anyone for not being able to stay with as bad as the heat was in that first half.


People definitely need to be more educated about heat exhaustion and heat stroke and how to avoid them, though.

Sorry guys, I left in the second and was in the MSC the rest of the game because I was going to get extremely heat sick otherwise. I tried to go back at one point but it just wasn't happening.

Hopefully it cools off next weekend.

yeah, anyone that wasn't at the game needs to STFU!!

...i stayed, but it was the most miserable game of my entire life. i honestly would have left if i drove. it takes a lot for me to leave, it would have been the first aggie sporting event i would have ever left, including soccer, bball, baseball, volleyball, ect...

ive done construction for a summer in houston heat.....ive done lawn care for a summer....in houston heat..........doesn't compare to today.....

it was HOT!!!!!!!!!

The weather reminded me of LSU '96, IIRC. I was in the horseshoe and hot as hell. Guys on forklifts toting ice around had to fight off the crowds to drive anywhere....

I wasn't at the game, but have been to many with similar conditions. I have no problem with people leaving for health reasons,i.e. avoiding heat stroke.

Heat stroke is a valid reason to leave...

Wife got heat stroke and we left at the end of the 3rd quarter... She apologized profusely for making me leave, but I was Thanking God she's doing ok...

Enron, I went through 3 gallons of water. I brought my original (frozen) gallon, finished it, refilled it twice. And I was wearing a baseball cap despite the constant UNCOVER shouts from morons behind me. I always come prepared for heat, but this game really seemed worse than any other early-season game I've ever been to.

Definitely the worst heat I have experienced at an A&M game. I think the student section did pretty well staying considering the weather.

I've been to almost every home game since 1991.



Don't compare this game to "other" hot games. This was--bar none--the most miserable and dangerous from a heat standpoint. No one can convince me otherwise.

i left at halftime.... the heat was the worst ive ever experienced at an A&M game. way worse than the '05 smu game in my opinion. it wasnt worth it to me to get sick and watch a game that just made me sick period.

I went through at least a gallon, shorts, hat, t-shirt, and sunscreen. I was up there an hour before the game (big mistake) and honestly I still fill like ****. Headache, hot, and so so tired (though I've been that way since donating blood).
