I wonder if the staff will explore a 6-2 with setters subbing for middles or outsides at any point to keep Lednicky in the back row? Not sure it really works that well if you still need a ds for Ital though.

She was a Skyline kid. I originally thought she would end up with Skinner at Texas. But, they just signed the former Nebraska opposite.
Leaving Kentucky is a head scratcher. Almost impossible to upgrade, program-wise. If she's looking for a place to play six rotations, it's not here.

I mean, there is always a scenario where we have 6 rotation Opp and 3 rotation OH. There are so many ways to get creative. Maybe they make Rutherford a 6 rotation OH, but she plays on the RS when's she's at the net. I've done so many creative lineups to have my best players playing to win championships

Take her and figure it out! It would be a huge boost to us perception wise. Heck, how about her and Skinner just come on over here. 
So rumors seem to think it's the libero for Northwestern. Elle Marie. She had a monster senior season and would look to be a huge improvement for us, although I did like seeing how much Underwood improved this year.

Stinson to A&M! Huge improvement at libero, comes from Northwestern and Munciana, a very well known club for top liberos.

It doesn't make any sense for Carlson, unless they are planning to run a 6-2. It seems like a really really dumb move for her career. 2 years of limited play to be expected
Texas has four legit pins and two elite setters. Maybe taking a page out of the Wisconsin playbook?
Unless a few transfer out I see them using a 6-2 next season at Texas. The roster is insane. If Elliot can make that roster happy with an organizational culture that is impressive.

No more doubles on setting on second contact unless sending over to other side , if setting teammate will be allowed...this has been the movement for a few years slowly to loosen up and allow more play
Two liberos can suit up for any one set...club uses this rule could be used for a passing specialst and digging specialist and maybe that second libero maybe the best server so dont have to use subs if main libero is not a great server. Doesnt really help if team uses the second best DS as a libero as well because then cant sub her for a OH on back row

I saw they had been experimenting with the no double rule the last year or so. Made it more frustrating the number of times it was called.
Not sure I understand the two libero rule. Only one can be on the court at a time, presumably subbing for different players, which just seems like a 6-2 system but for libero.

The movement in officiating was to only call the blatant doubles but each official has his/her interpretation of that
This is cause some panic on some of the old school officials and will cause big time issues for fans until they know of rule change and I am sure some coaches will be slow to adapt and still whine but it promotes play which seems to be the way most rules are going in volleyball
Most differences between club, NCAA and HS are either what promotes more rallies and more play vs safety issues regarding play
Some i like some I dont but when officiating you just try to remember what organization you are reffing under and go from there

Man, it would almost ruin the development and prioritization of setters. What is the international rule/rules? If anything I'd just go to that since it would better help USA developmental volleyball

This is not stop the priority of setting...placement of the ball, tempo and who you set in a given rotation are still paramount. Bad sets are already going to be tougher for hitters to swing at but the game contnues even if "everyone sees the spin" that most parents say is a double if any spin occurs and that is what they think
