I don't know about primary, but you can bet someone is on it. With NIL this is big business and you don't want anyone slipping by that might be a missing piece to your puzzle after one of your players pulls a surprise exit. Another poster used the term "mercenaries", and thats pretty much it.
It only took me a year to figure out this place is nuts!

Probably somebody a little higher than a grad assistant, like one of the support staff members. Reach out and see what type of situation they are looking for. Then pass it up the chain

I guess that's one way to phrase it a little more eloquently than B-1 did.

Edit: For these kids heading out for "greener" pastures in the middle of the semester, does their scholarship hold for Spring '24 or do they pay it back?

Looks like one missed the cleanup. Perhaps B-1 would have been better off with this comparison, with Bull Murray being the pick of the litter transfer, and the last guy being the guy who played in 6 minutes of 4 games.

It only took me a year to figure out this place is nuts!

Buzz's whole vibe tells me that anyone in the portal just as an outright money grab is probably a pass for us, especially if they only have one year of eligibility left like Lampkin or Meechie Johnson.

We've taken some one-year guys, but the only one that was even remotely high profile was Dex.

This one surprised me. CU message boards indicate that most of CU's core is leaving, the move to the Big XII is looming, and their NIL collective is just getting up to speed.

Maybe Lampkin is using his final year to find another plug-and-play contender?

Do you not know the story about his departure from TCU?

He wanted to renegotiate his deal during the season. TCU told him we aren't going to talk about that stuff during the season. He said he wasn't going to play unless they upped the offer. Dixon told him "well, bye."

This was the most predictable move ever.
