Why consult with the RVP? What a bunch of clowns.

Not everyone at RVP is a clown. The organization does some very good things.

Unfortunately, one well-placed bad apple can spoil the bunch, and that's the case with RVP.

Any info on the Eccell Steakhouse on University. There is a sign up now across from BWW.

It's on the list, other than that, I haven't heard anything about when it's opening.

I have added some info about Red Lobster and Pappas.

Pappa's BBQ, cool I love the one on the SW Frwy in Houston.

BCS could also use a Houston Garden Center. Are there any good nurseries in BCS?

Anybody know what's going on with Wolf Pen Bowling? I went there last night and was suprised to see it was closed for remodeling. There was some sign on the door indicating they're undergoing a six-month remodel -- are they going to be closed that whole time?

I'd heard that Triangle Bowl had closed a while back, but they appeared to be open when I drove past a month or two ago. They were definitely closed last night though.

Did they ever reopen the bowling alley in the MSC basement? If so, are the lanes still uneven like they used to be? I haven't been back there since they closed it off for remodeling.

The Wolfpen info is somewhat listed (check the Booville Station details). I asked Mom about details tonight and she said that as of Wednesday, some of the new scoring machines and ball returns had all ready been switched out. They were also working on replacing the ceiling on Wednesday. She didn't know how long they're going to take, though. Triangle Bowl will stay closed.

I'm sure my wife would love another garden place though.

I hope Wolf Pen isn't closed the whole time. My daughter is supposed to go to a bowling party there this Saturday.

When did it close? It was open as recently as 2004.

I remember the talk to close it, but didn't remember the resolution. I did find this, though:

So, that is nice information to know - but the real information that would be beneficial is: how is it going to help local businesses?!?!? Are the deadlines to get a package going to be extended? Are we going to get packages earlier?.... Sure would have been nice for the 'reporter' to follow up on how it will benefit local businesses....

Ok, a couple of posts above just reminded me of a pet peeve of mine - why in the hell is "Town" spelled "Towne"? Does that make it upscale? Does it make it British? Is there going to be a fish-n-chips place there?

I'm waiting for the next one to be called "Ye Olde Towne Centre of Byan"....

Yeah I hate the Towne and the Centre. There are a few others that people like to "church up" from time to time. Annoying. We're not in Europe.
