This rocks! I was there 94 through 99 and don't remember the lights at all... It seems we could get some spots on there for the tu game at least...if we can't get the contracts in place in time to make the game.

I did a quick price check yesterday. Depending on how the order(s) is/are placed and what quantities and sizes of which colors are ordered, shirts can be bought for under $4 each.

What I am saying is 10,000 white shirts with a single color print can be bought for under $2.75 each. Colored shirts cost more. Breaking up the order (250 now, 250 in a separate order, etc.) could make the cost go up as well. If the shirts are shipped as opposed to being picked up, that will cost more as well.

I checked with a company in Katy, so pick up is certainly possible.

Oh, and I figure if you sell the shirts for $10 or $12 each, you would do pretty well.

A different color shirt is probably $.50 to $1 more, and XXL and XXXL shirts are usually around $1.50 more.

So profit margin on each shirt should be around, what... $6-8

That's actually a really good margin for shirts at a reasonable price.

I am doing shirts for a HS FCA function, and we are actually losing money per shirt to keep it affordable enough for school kids ($5). We are also only doing 125 shirts.

Cant wait to buy shirts... looks great and I love the donation and "thermometer" chart

I'm sure y'all are looking at some really nice shirts but we got burned in a student organization years ago. We ordered white shirts because they were cheaper - they were thin and cheaply made. We learned the hard way to check the product before we actually ordered.

I like the designs and I like the idea of having different color choices.

White will definitely be the cheapest, but the maroon on grey looks so damn good!

Most important thing is that they are quality shirts that aren't going to shrink. I prefer heavy material.

The price he quoted for the grey single color front and back was $3.17 each on Gildan pre-shunk cotton. That was with an order of 10,000 shirts.

That's what I'm saying. We could get some hefty donations if we say those donors would be recognized. Maybe say that once we reach our goal, the top 5 donors will be recognized on the field by $Bill during the first game for which the letters are lit.

I mentioned the A&M clubs a few pages back. Once everything is finalized, I can email each of the presidents and ask about newsletters, web pages, mailing lists, etc. Try to personalize each one a bit. Just let me know if you need help with that
