It is my understanding that the Association of Former Students is an affiliate organization of Texas A&M University. If the Association is an affiliate of the school and operates independently, I'd assume they (and the property they inhabit) would not be subject to the same rules as the University.
Is this a stretch? Maybe. But it doesn't hurt to ask.
Could you set up at the main entry points to main campus? There is ALOT of pedestrian traffic at the McDonald's of Wellborn and George Bush and around Northgate...

Hopefully we can crank up the t-shirt sales online. Remember guys reading this, that some people have invested of their own personal funds to BUY those t-shirts and sell them. We need the contributions and sales to make up for that initial deficit in our operating expenses... Everything on top of that is gravy, until we need to buy more shirts of course...

...like Kyle doesn't have 1000 other needs ahead of some lights! At some point soon, the entire facade will have to be redone as part of the long-awaited revamp of KF, so these will likely be replaced anyways...
What is so hard about lighting the letters? With the money we saved by buying a cheap @$$ McFerrin-Like space bubble to replace Netum Sneed, we should be able to light the entire effing planet. LIGHT THE LETTERS!
