today i heard some pretty big news that may or may not be true. its a about a large, and i mean very large company moving some offices to CS and bringing in some jobs to the area.

i dont wanna say who it is cause its frankly kinda hard to believe but i just want to know if anyone has any advice as to who i can call maybe at the city or elsewhere to find out it its true. if i find out its true, i'll be glad to share with everyone else, but until then i'd just rather keep it to myself.

i'd appreciate it if anyone can lead me in the right direction as to who i can call to confirm this rumor i heard.

BTW, I heard today that Pitmaster's BBQ has closed. The original owners have backed out, and it will be opening up again in a couple of weeks with new owners. This is not confirmed.

unfortunately i can not right now. my company is looking at purchasing some property that would probably be directly influenced by this major move and it could possibly breach our plans if i made it public on here.

The owner of the Berry Hill actually physically assaulted the architect in his office and lost the original site that it was suppost to go on. As far as I'm concerned we don't need people like that opening businesses here in Aggieland. If he does come here I will be boycotting the resturant.

Regarding Cracker Barrel:
I was at the Waco CB about a month ago and asked the manager about whether it's true they only locate on interstates. He said they have one in Lubbock now that is not on an interstate. If that one does well, he said Bryan-College Station is "on the list" for a CB. Mind you, this was the Waco manager talking and not a corporate authority, but hey - sounds promising.

Can we please put CB and Interstates on the list with orange being the reason Hooter's wouldn't be in CS?
